Welcome

Wren's Nest

to the

The Wrens Nest is the perfect base for those wanting to explore the Bays of Harris and beyond. In a truly rural setting, at the end of a mile long track on the northern side of Quidinish Point. The pod overlooks a beautiful loch from where otters can sometimes be seen swimming. In the distance Roneval, the highest mountain in South Harris provides a scenic background.

The pod is named after the many tiny wrens which live around the croft, and there are many other species including snipe, merlin and eagles to be seen. The complete lack of light pollution means that night skies are stunning and it is sometimes possible to see the magical Fir Chilis or Northern Lights.

Although situated in the garden of our home the pod is designed to provide privacy and the location, a mile from the nearest "main" road, with no other neighbours makes for a truly tranquil location.

Be aware that the access track is not suitable for lower riding vehicles. There is parking approx 1/4 mile from the pod  for those who would prefer not to drive down the final rough unmetalled  section.
